  • Concept of Safety Management
  • The safety management leads to conduct efficient HSE activities on board through supporting and monitoring based on strong leadership and system of Shore organization. And these activities should cause in continuous improvement of ship/shore safety management and process.
LFIs(Learning From Incidents)
  • Providing root causes of accidents, implications and preventive actions to maintain mature safety culture as well as to prevent accident by Reflective learning through voluntary discussions on board.

TBM(Tool Box Meeting)
  • Identifying potential hazards through open communication before starting work onboard and recognizing counter-measures against hazards to prevent from incidents.

Safety Golden Rules & Stop Card
  • The company “Safety Golden Rules” which prescribes special safety for PPE, Drug & Alcohol, Work Permit, Smoking and Environment protection must be abided by seafarers on board without exception. To cultivate intervention culture, company provides “Stop Card” to use to stop work onboard in case anybody does not comply with safety procedures.

Work Permit(Hot & Cold works)
  • Prior to works which have potential high dangerous hazards such as hot work, enclosed space, aloft and electric, work permit shall be approved by Master and/or DPA to ensure safety.

Monthly Safety & Environment Committee
  • Master holds monthly onboard safety/quality committee and the minutes are to be submitted to company. The company DP holds monthly shore based safety/quality committee to review all minutes submitted from vessels and the result of review shall be replied in due course. Company pursues Goal Zero incidents through open communication and sharing between ship and shore.

External Ship Safety & Nav. Audit
  • The annual Safety and Navigation audit including training for one vessel of each fleet (at least 3 vessels) are conducted by external experts. The observations found during audit are rectified and the valuable information is shared with all fleet. This external audit system is contribute to prevent from incidents and to upgrade safety management systems.

BVS(Automated Weather Information)
  • Automatically providing with updated weather information through BVS program provided by AWT. Vessels masters use the weather information to decide the optimal safe route and to avoid typhoon as well heavy weather.

Visible Leadership (CEO/Seniors’ Ship Visit)
  • To hear the voice of seafarers and to cheer up seafarers, Top management and senior managements periodically visit and/or sail with the vessels. (Quarterly by Top management, monthly by senior managements.)

Weekly CEO & Senior Management Safety Meetings
  • To share with information/data and to make a decision about important matters, weekly meeting participated in CEO, Senior Managements and Team Leaders is held.

Shipping KPI System
  • To boost performance improvements internally in companies engaged in the ship operation activities, the Shipping KPI system is utilized and the real time result of all KPIs are displayed on the company Management Information System (MIS) for CEO.

Oil Majors & External Company TMSA Review
  • To verify the status of HSE implementation and to improve HSE system, the foreign external experts are invited to carry out audit for company every 3 years. And TMSA review of SHELL, BP, ExxonMobil including other oil majors have been periodically conducting.

Fleet Managers Meetings (Safety/Crew/Tech.)
  • For close communication and effective sharing of information, the shore staffs related in same fleet (marine/technical superintendents and staff of human resource team) have regular meetings every week and after visiting vessel.

Internal Ship Safety & Technical Inspection
  • The internal Safety inspection (by Marine superintendent) and Technical inspection (by Technical superintendent) are carried out at least one time per year individually. For these inspections, the superintendents are sailing with ship normally seven (7) days and they also carry out training and emergency drills onboard.

Ship Position & Weather Monitoring(24 Hours)
  • Vessels movement and weather condition are monitored by BVS, GLOBE, GOOGLE and VMS. Above monitoring is available anytime for 24 hours.

  • Emergency Response
  • To minimize loss and to improve ability of emergency response, the company emergency response systems are established. The effective and prompt ship/shore response procedures against various kinds of emergency situations which may be occurred on board are stated in company emergency response system.
